    Connecting Multiple Accounts

You can connect multiple accounts for the same platform - perfect for managing personal accounts, business pages, or client accounts.

    Important: Connecting a Different Account

Social platforms remember your login. To connect a different account, you must:

    • Option 1:Log out of the platform (e.g., x.com, linkedin.com) in your browser first, then click Connect
    • Option 2:Open the authorization in an incognito/private browser window

    Use Cases for Multiple Accounts

    • Personal + Business accounts
    • Multiple client accounts (agencies)
    • Different brand pages
    • Regional/language-specific accounts

    Account Labels

    • Rename accounts for easy identification
    • Use labels like "Personal", "Work", "Client: Acme"
    • Click the edit icon next to account name
    • Labels appear when selecting accounts for posts

    BlueSky Setup

BlueSky uses App Passwords instead of OAuth2. This is equally secure and gives you granular control over access.

    Creating an App Password

    1. Log in to bsky.app
    2. Go to Settings then App Passwords
    3. Click "Add App Password"
    4. Give it a name like "PromptOutput"
    5. Copy the generated password (format: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx)

    Connecting in PromptOutput

    1. Click "Connect BlueSky" on the Accounts page
    2. Enter your BlueSky handle (e.g., @username.bsky.social)
    3. Paste your App Password (optional - can connect without for read-only)
    4. Click Connect

    Security Tip

App Passwords can be revoked anytime without changing your main password. If you ever want to disconnect, simply delete the App Password from BlueSky settings.

    Canva Integration

Connect Canva to design professional graphics and import them directly into your social posts.

    What You Can Do

    • Access your Canva designs
    • Import graphics to posts
    • Create new designs from templates
    • Manage design assets

    Permissions Granted

    • Read your designs
    • Read design metadata
    • Access your asset library
    • Write new designs

Pro Tip: Create branded templates in Canva, then quickly customize them for each post. This ensures consistent visual branding across all your content.

    Google Business Profile

Connect your Google Business Profile to post updates directly to your business listing, keeping customers informed about news, offers, and events.

    Requirements

    • A verified Google Business Profile
    • Owner or Manager access to the business
    • At least one business location

    What You Can Post

    • Business updates and announcements
    • Special offers and promotions
    • Events and news
    • Products and services highlights

Note: When connecting, we will show you how many business locations were found. If no locations appear, ensure your Google Business Profile is properly set up with verified locations.

    Managing Connected Accounts

Each connected account shows in its platform card with management options.

    Rename Account

Click the edit icon to add a custom label. Great for distinguishing between "Personal", "Company", or client names.

    Multiple Accounts

Connect as many accounts per platform as you need. Each shows with its own badge showing connection status.

    Connection Status

A green badge shows how many accounts are connected. If a token expires, reconnect to refresh authentication.

    Disconnect

Remove an account connection entirely. This revokes PromptOutput access but does not delete your social media account.

    Client Account Assignment

    Agency Feature

Teams with multiple clients can assign social accounts to specific clients for organized content management.

How to Assign Accounts to Clients

    1. Connect the social account as normal
    2. Under the account, find the client dropdown (shows briefcase icon)
    3. Select "All Clients" or choose a specific client
    4. The account is now filtered to that client workspace

    "All Clients" (Default)

Account is available for all clients in your team. Use for shared accounts or your own agency social presence.

    Specific Client

Account only appears when that client is selected. Perfect for keeping client social accounts separate and organized.

    Best Practice

When onboarding a new client, connect their social accounts and immediately assign them to the client. This prevents accidentally posting to the wrong account.

    Troubleshooting

    Popup Blocked

Allow popups for PromptOutput in your browser settings. The OAuth window needs to open in a popup to complete authentication securely.

    Connection Failed

Try disconnecting (if partially connected) and reconnecting. Clear your browser cache if issues persist. Ensure you are granting all requested permissions.

    Token Expired

Social media tokens expire periodically. Click "Connect" again to refresh your authentication. You will not lose any data or settings.

    Wrong Account Connected

Disconnect the account, log out of the social platform in your browser, clear cookies if needed, then reconnect with the correct account.

    Facebook: No Pages Found

Facebook requires a Page for posting. Personal profiles cannot be connected for publishing. Create a Facebook Page first, then reconnect.

    Google Business: No Locations

Ensure your Google Business Profile has verified locations. You must be an Owner or Manager of the business to connect and post.
