    Selecting Sources

Sources are the content foundation for your generated posts. The AI analyzes your sources to extract key insights and create compelling, relevant posts.

    Supported File Types

    PDF
    DOCX
    PPTX
    XLSX
    URL
    TXT

    Individual Files vs. Folders

You can select individual source files or entire folders. When you select a folder, all sources within that folder are automatically included. Selected items appear as badges showing the file name or folder name with the file count.

    Tips for selecting sources:

    • Select 1-3 related sources for focused, coherent content
    • Use folders to quickly select all sources for a campaign or topic
    • Only sources with "ready" status are available for selection
    • High-quality, detailed sources produce better posts
    • Combine different source types for richer content variety

    Content Limits

To ensure optimal performance, source content is limited to 50KB per source and 100KB total. Very large documents are automatically truncated while preserving the most relevant content.

    Choosing Platforms

Each platform has unique characteristics. The AI automatically optimizes content for each:

    LinkedIn

    Max: 3,000 chars

    Professional, insights-focused

    X

    Max: 280 chars

    Concise, engaging hooks

    Facebook

    Conversational, community

    Instagram

    Max: 2,200 chars

    Visual-first captions

    Max: 500 chars

    Casual, authentic

    TikTok

    Max: 2,200 chars

    Trendy, engaging

    SEO-optimized descriptions

    Reddit

    Max: 40,000 chars

    Community-appropriate

    BlueSky

    Max: 300 chars

    Brief, punchy

    Corporate, traditional language
    Creative & Fun
    Playful, engaging style

    Informative, teaching-focused

    Post Length

Control how long your posts should be:

    Brief
    1-2 sentences, short and punchy
    Standard
Balanced length, recommended for most posts
    Detailed
Longer form with multiple points or paragraphs

    Include Relevant Hashtags

When enabled, the AI automatically includes platform-appropriate hashtags based on your content and industry. Great for increasing discoverability.

    Add Call-to-Action

Include a CTA to drive engagement. The AI adds appropriate prompts like "Comment below," "Share your thoughts," "Click the link," or "Follow for more" based on your content.

    Writing Your Prompt

The prompt field lets you provide specific instructions for how the AI should generate your posts. While optional, a well-crafted prompt significantly improves output quality.

    Example prompts:

    • • "Create engaging posts highlighting our new product features with a focus on benefits for small businesses"
    • • "Write thought leadership content about AI trends in marketing"
    • • "Generate promotional posts for our upcoming webinar on productivity tips"
    • • "Create educational content explaining the benefits of our service"

    Tips for better prompts:

    • Be specific about the angle or message you want to convey
    • Mention your target audience if relevant
    • Include any key points or features to highlight
    • Specify the desired emotion or reaction (inspire, educate, entertain)

    Prompt Templates

Save time by creating reusable templates for your most common generation configurations. Templates store your prompt text, tone, length, platform selections, and hashtag/CTA preferences.

    What templates save:

    Your prompt text
    Content tone
    Post length
    Selected platforms
    Hashtag preferences
    CTA preferences

    Using templates:

    1. Click Use Prompt Template to open the template selector
    2. Click on a template name to apply its settings
    3. The applied template appears as a badge you can clear
    4. Modify settings as needed after applying

    Managing templates:

    • Rename: Click the pencil icon next to any template
    • Delete: Click the trash icon to remove a template
    • Create new templates from the Review Posts page

    Template examples:

    • • "LinkedIn Professional" - Professional tone, standard length, LinkedIn only, with CTA
    • • "X Engagement" - Casual tone, brief length, X platform, with hashtags
    • • "Multi-Platform Launch" - Creative tone, all platforms, hashtags + CTA

    Hashtag Groups

Hashtag groups let you save collections of related hashtags for quick insertion into your prompts. Instead of typing hashtags manually each time, insert an entire group with one click.

    Using hashtag groups:

    1. Click Use Saved Hashtag Groups to open the group selector
    2. Click on a group name to insert its hashtags into your prompt
    3. Hashtags are added at the end of your current prompt
    4. Each group shows the hashtag count and preview

    Managing hashtag groups:

    • Rename: Click the pencil icon next to any group
    • Delete: Click the trash icon to remove a group
    • Create new groups from the Review Posts page
    • Enter hashtags separated by spaces or commas (# is optional)

    Example groups:

    Marketing (5 hashtags)

    #marketing #digitalmarketing #socialmedia #contentmarketing #branding

    Tech Industry (4 hashtags)

    #tech #innovation #startup #technology

    Motivation (3 hashtags)

    #motivation #success #mindset

    Client Brand Voice (Agency Plan)

    Agency Plan

Agencies managing multiple clients can configure unique brand voices for each client. When generating posts, select a client to automatically apply their brand settings.

How to use client brand voice:

    1. Select a client from the Client Selector dropdown in the header
    2. The AI automatically incorporates that client's brand voice settings
    3. Generated posts match the client's unique voice and guidelines
    4. Posts are tagged with the selected client for easy organization

    Brand voice settings applied:

    • Brand Voice: The personality and tone unique to the client
    • Target Audience: Demographics and characteristics of who they're speaking to
    • Content Guidelines: Rules and restrictions for content creation

Tip: Set up client brand voice in the Client Management section under Team settings. The more detail you provide, the better the AI matches the client's unique voice.

    Generation Workflow

Understanding the post generation workflow helps you make the most of the AI generation process.

    1

    Generate creates draft posts

Clicking Generate creates one draft post per selected platform. Posts are saved as drafts, not published.

    2

    Automatic redirect to Review

After generation, you're automatically taken to the Review Posts page to edit and refine your content.

    3

    AI content generation on Review

The actual AI-generated content is created when you view the post on the Review page, allowing for real-time refinement.

    4

    Edit, schedule, or publish

From Review, edit your posts, add images, schedule for later, or publish immediately to connected accounts.

    Plan Limits

Your subscription plan determines how many posts you can create each month. The Plan Limit Banner at the top of the page shows your current usage. Post counts are incremented when posts are published, not when drafts are created.

    Tips for Better Posts

    Use quality sources

The AI output is only as good as the input. Use detailed, well-written sources for the best results.

    Match tone to platform

LinkedIn calls for professional tone, while TikTok and Threads work better with casual, fun content.

    Review and personalize

Always add your unique perspective. AI provides a starting point—make it yours on the Review page.

    Test different lengths

Some audiences prefer brief posts, others engage more with detailed content. Experiment to find what works.

    Combine multiple sources

Selecting 2-3 related sources often creates richer, more comprehensive content than a single source.

    Save winning templates

When you find configurations that work well, save them as templates for consistent results.

    Use specific prompts

The more specific your prompt, the better the output. Include key points, target audience, and desired angle.

    Organize with folders

Group related sources into folders for quick selection when generating campaign-specific content.
